Content
-
Castle reworked: open main floor with multiple exits, a new second floor with farmable NPCs for melee and ranged, an altar and a bank chest. Gorthrok has moved to the second floor.
-
New boss: the Rat King, in the middle of the castle main floor.
Skilling
-
Skilling pet chances reworked: they now depend on what you are gathering, improve with your level, and are much higher at 200m XP.
-
New pets: Rock golem (Mining), Beaver (Woodcutting), Heron (Fishing), Giant squirrel (Agility) and Rocky (Thieving). Skills with two pets give you the one you do not own yet.
Items
-
New Rat King drops: Brawler's ring (+4 armour, +4 strength) and the new rare cosmetic Rat King staff.
-
Game Shop: added Bob the cat, a shop exclusive pet, and the Elixir of wisdom (+50% of your account's XP rate for 6 hours of play time).
-
Pyriel no longer sells the Experience elixir. The Elixir of wisdom in the Game Shop replaces it.
-
Combat boosters and Skill boosters have been removed from containers and the PK crate.
-
Existing Experience elixirs, Combat boosters and Skill boosters still work when consumed. They just cannot be obtained anymore.
Wilderness / PvP
-
Capture Castle: capture all four flags with your clan to control castle (three to keep it). Control gives +2 XP rate and 1.5x stackable drops while inside castle. Winning Clan Wars captures castle automatically with 30 minutes of flag protection.
-
New castle overlay showing flags held and the owning clan. It can be dragged, collapsed, or turned off in the settings menu.
-
The castle bank chest needs 15 seconds out of combat and takes 10 seconds to open. Moving or taking damage cancels it.
-
Honorable Kills (HK): a new PvP stat for kills on fair targets, with diminishing returns on repeat kills of the same player. Kills and Deaths are unchanged and nothing was reset.
-
The in-game hiscores now show Honorable Kills next to Kills and Deaths, and the PvP board is ranked on HK first.
-
The hotspot has been removed. Its skilling side moved to the new Resource Area in the deep wilderness. Entry costs 30,000 coins, 24,000 with the Medium Wilderness Diary, 15,000 with Hard, and is free with Elite.
-
Logging out inside the Resource Area moves you outside the gate.
-
Runite golems added to the Resource Area. Each kill drops a guaranteed runite ore, and they respawn after 5 minutes.
-
Piles added to the Resource Area. He exchanges banknotes for items at 50 coins per item.
-
Removed the two webs in the Mage Arena.
-
Removed the "Graveyard east" teleport option from the teleportal pool.
-
The "Graveyard west" teleport option has been renamed to "Resource west".
Bug Fix
-
Using Dragonfire coins on another player now gives the whole stack with a single confirmation.
-
Tournaments: fixed players getting stuck when the bracket was not full, fixed ranged and magic attacks working before the FIGHT countdown, and players are now always moved between rooms automatically.

-
Blighted super restore has been removed from F2P.
(reported by Whiteboy)
-
The Ardougne amulet and the Falador shields now have no coin value and are untradable.

General
-
Pet tasks removed from the diaries: Ardougne now has "Defeat Zamorak" and Wilderness has "Defeat Bandos" instead. The Kandarin and Varrock pet tasks were removed with no replacement.
-
World map rebuilt: it is now drawn from the game world itself, with area pages, icons, labels, search and an overview thumbnail.
-
Ultimate ironmen can now un-note banknotes by using them on a bank chest.
